Where We Work
Located 43 miles south of Salt Lake City, Provo is a quiet suburban metro that lies in Utah Valley. The historic downtown Provo area is a charming 25-acre district with architecture dating as far back as the late 1800s. Today, these buildings house local shops, galleries, restaurants, events, and entertainment. Popular city events include: rooftop concerts, art strolls, hot air balloon festivals, and farmers markets. Downtown Provo is an interesting blend of old and new, mixing a modern lively vibe with a taste of the past.
Provo is surrounded by the sprawling Wasatch Mountains to the east, and Utah Lake to the west. Outdoor enthusiasts can find adventure everywhere through camping, biking, skiing and more. The Provo area also hosts an abundance of learning opportunities. It is the home of BYU, UVU, and supports many community educational programs. The area is growing rapidly with entrepreneurs leading in creativity, innovation, and technology. This influence has spurred a thriving hub for industry, as many graduate students stick around and create a reservoir of talent for startups and as well as established companies. Caldera employees enjoy the variety of things to do and experience in the area.
