Caldera’s manufacturing facility is under the same roof as our engineering, design, and customer support groups. Having these teams within the same building facilitates collaboration between groups and leads to improved product development and customer service.
Caldera’s manufacturing capability is geared toward building severe service letdown systems for erosive flashing flow.
We have invested in manufacturing equipment that allows us to better serve our customers. Below is a list of our in-house capabilities.
- CNC lathes and machining centers of varying sizes
- Several overhead cranes ranging in capacity from 0.5 to 4 tons
- Saw capable of cutting 21” (533 mm) diameter bar
- Forklifts
- Welders
- Sandblasters
- 3D printers
- PMI (positive material identification)
- Dedicated painting area
- Laser engraver
In our quality department we carry the following equipment.
- CMM (coordinate measuring machine) arms
- Extensive range of calipers and micrometers
- Granite inspection tables
- Dye penetrant testing area
- Paint thickness tester
- Roughness tester
