Product Development

Our product development approach combines customer collaboration with advanced engineering principles and real-world experience to develop solutions built for the most demanding environments.
The development process typically begins with customer input—often gathered during onsite visits, which are offered at no cost. Caldera interfaces with dozens of autoclave mines and operational plants around the world, maintaining relationships with operations, maintenance, and engineering personnel. This ongoing dialogue, combined with decades of hands-on industry experience, allows Caldera to engineer solutions with a comprehensive perspective.
Product development is a collaborative effort. Input is gathered from customers, project managers, design engineers, machinists, researchers, and company leadership. Our expertise in mechanical engineering, fluid dynamics, materials science, and manufacturing provides a strong foundation for innovation.
We use simulation tools, such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and physical flow testing to refine designs before prototyping. Prototypes help validate manufacturability and assess flow characteristics under real-world conditions.
This iterative product development process is reinforced by stringent quality control to improve design reliability. The result: high-performance products that minimize downtime, improve operational efficiency, and enhance overall safety in harsh industrial environments.
